This might be useful if you’re trying to find smaller items or objects with low conductivity levels. It takes some practice to get used to it and to know how to make sense of the different frequencies but it will pay off once you get used to it. The metal detector can be powered by simply pressing the Power button for one second and then releasing it. Iron Audio allows you to hear discriminated iron (normally silenced) to avoid digging undesired flat iron targets such as bottle caps or washers. The LCD screen has a simple bar chart to let you know if the item is 2, 4, 6, or 8 inches below the surface of the soil. This feature can let you know the size, shape, and material through simple symbols on the control box. This model is great when it comes to beach metal detecting, but please beware that it’s not fully waterproof, only the coil so you’ll have to make sure you don’t drop it in the water.There is a learning curve to this machine but if you’re well versed with metal detectors already or are willing to put the effort into learning then this a great metal detector to have. It hits on targets even better that I expected and the display is quite accurate at identifying your find before digging.
