The OTT giant Netflix has been notorious for blatantly pushing its own agenda rather than focusing on its premium job, which is to offer quality content and ENTERTAIN its viewers. I got to know about this book when I listened the Author's TedEx talk and decided to give it a shot. and he replied ‘When I was growing up, everyone used to say repeatedly ‘Isko Horlicks pilao, Isko Horlicks pilao’, to the extent that I ultimately got named as Horlicks. But in India, this trend became overriding and struck deep roots in mid-Sixties when the Indian National Congress, the country’s oldest party, started losing its sway over the electorate.

Unlike other series, every actor, right from Karan Tacker playing the role of Amit Lodha to Jatin Sarna as Chawanprash Sahu, all have played a healthy competition, and no character has appeared inferior to others. This formula (clichéd as it is) is reused again by Amit Lodha who was an IPS (Indian Police Service) officer posted in Bihar while hunting a dreaded dacoit – Vijay Samrat.

The book has been written almost like a blockbuster script – twists and turns, adrenaline filled rush and daring jump-cuts before every chapter closes. Alongside, he credits actor Emraan Hashmi for making him meet author S Hussain Zaidi, who in turn guided this officer to pen down his encounters with criminals. They have suddenly arrived and started firing on the family of the independent MLA Aruna Devi, Wife of Akhilesh Singh Samant’s arch enemy. Till the last ,you would think that why the Police didn't encounter Chandan Mahto, but the climax satisfy us, and did Justice to the reality. He has been the recipient of various awards and commendations , including the acclaimed President police medal of gallantry and the Internal security medal.

With the real representation of village life, strong dialogues and titular song “ Aiyana Humra Bihar Me” takes the strong writing of the book to a next level in the web series. His reputation was challenged only by the tenacity and grit of the young SP, who arrested him by engaging in a battle of nerves, and of course,some lady luck. But, not many know that before Neeraj Pandey, actor Irrfan had expressed interest in making this film. You love and hate Ashutosh Rana as IG Mukteshwar Chaubey as he turns instrumental in this story reaching its logical end.His heinous crime rate is in full swing when a the hero of the story, the IPS Office Amit Lodha is posted to Bihar.
