About this deal

As running buggies go, the Out N About Nipper Sport V4 makes a very good first impression. Athletic-looking, sleek and minimalist in design, this buggy is one you’ll be proud to run with, with three large, 16-inch wheels that only add to its striking aesthetic. The Little Nipper Double didn't stop me doing any of my usual tasks. I could get it on and off the bus quite easily. We took the Little Nipper Double to the park and I was quite surprised how easily it was to push on the grass and on the gravel. When my granddaughter fell asleep I was able to lay her seat completely flat which I liked as it was more comfortable for her. I would have liked if the handle bar could be adjusted to the other side so that it could be rear and forward facing. I like having the option of interacting with them when there isn't much to see or when they are upset and need comforting. I can imagine it would also be nicer for twin babies as the mum could face them and keep an eye on them. Tested by mum Katie Myers for the M&B Awards 2017: Mountain Buggy ones are good and totally indestructible. Ours is 15+ years old and has been passed from one offroad walking/jogging family to the next" - Mumsnet user, parentsvsPIL

It is baby car seat-compatible though (using a universal travel system adapter that needs to be bought separately) and the near-lie-flat seat reclines to over 150 degrees, which is a requirement for newborns. However, I think the seat is a bit too big for small babies so you'd definitely need to buy a newborn support.

Out N About Nipper Sport V4: how easy is it to assemble?

The overall quality of the pushchair meant that I wouldn't need to worry about it breaking, it was a pleasure to use with my grandson. The large wheels bump up and down kerbs effortlessly and with minimal disturbance to my small passenger. But they do make the buggy extra long, so it unfortunately isn’t well suited to public transport or navigating small shop aisles. However, I regularly take it grocery shopping and have experienced no spatial issues unless the supermarket is particularly busy. The sun canopy is large enough to provide decent coverage, however it’s noisy to fold in and out, which could disturb a napping baby. Note: mine miraculously stays sleeping each time I do this!

Out n About Nipper 360. I was still running with this with a giant 3 and a half year old sitting comfortably" - Mumsnet user, Seacow87 Our verdict I find that the frame also needs to be wiped down every now and again, especially when taking the buggy off-roading. Price and competition: is the Out N About Nipper Sport V4 good value for money? Running form: Aim to maintain an upright posture and resist the temptation to to lean over the handlebars. The design of the little Nipper was good, it was comfortable for baby and overall very good quality. I did find it difficult to fold the pushchair at times and it wasn't very portable for a stroller. It was comfortable to push and easy to manoeuver. The colour of the stroller was very nice. The price was reasonable but more expensive than others on the market. Weight: The lighter the overall weight of the pram, the easier it is to push, especially if you’re transporting an older child across uneven terrain. Look for a lightweight option with an aluminium frame.I have a Thule Chariot which is a bike trailer but also has a jogging wheel option too. I have jogged in rutted paths (woodland) and cycled loads, plus (it has smaller stroller wheels too) it bumps up and down curbs so easily. I'd recommend this one if you have lots of room for storage (I keep mine in our garage) and you are ever likely to cycle as well as run” - recommended by Mumsnet user, DontBuyANewMumCashmere Our verdict We introduced new pushchair tests in 2015, and again in 2018. This model will not be directly comparable to those tested after 2015.
