Known locally as 'Dracula's Castle' due to its neo-Gothic and towered brick construction, this multi-roomed pub dates back to 1894 and has now returned to being a hotel. Ho Chi Minh is believed to have worked as a chef here when he lived in West Ealing. There are two bars on the ground floor, one with a pool table. A new bar has been built in the downstairs function room which seats around 150 for the regular comedy and music nights. It also hosts the Monday night salsa & zumba classes. Free wifi, the Thursday night quiz, chess tournaments, Sky sport on TV, and one of the biggest beer gardens in West London with a seperate children's play area makes the pub a popular destination. Meals are served from a set menu with blackboard specials.

An imposing suburban Fuller’s house rebuilt in 1929 to designs by T H Nowell Parr and dominated externally by three gables on the rendered frontage. There are three distinct rooms with internal partitions, the pair on the right retaining a doorway between them. The wall panelling remains as does the bar counter although the fitting behind is probably modern. The windows contain attractive dimpled glass. At the rear the counter is original. The back parts were extended in 1934 to Parr’s design and contains a large hemispherical skylight. The main menu is freshly prepared, featuring English and Mediterranean dishes. There is a large garden containing many picnic tables. The terrace bar has heated large umbrellas and the summer BBQs are popular. There is usually live jazz on the last Thursday of every month with The Dick Esmond Trio and guests. The pub is part of the local community running the beer tent at the annual Party In The Park event, and hosting a fête with local produce, arts + crafts, a bouncy castle, games and live music. There is one TV mostly showing a news channel although non-Sky live sport are shown. The pub was known as the Kent Hotel until 2003, it is Grade II listed, and is on the London Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors.

This large two bar pub on the busy Uxbridge Road was formerly the Walsingham Arms and before that The Old Hat. There has been a pub on this site since 1750. Although it now has an Irish theme, real ale was installed in January 2011 in the back bar. With so much wood visible inside, it can be described as barn like. Thwaites Wainwright and York Yorkshire Terrier were recent guests which change every two to three weeks. The pub is one of the few still to have a carvery between noon and 8pm on Sundays. Live music is performed most weekends, and daily newspapers are available. The rear of the pub has exposed brick and a skylight. The back beer garden has a very large smoking shelter.

A recent convert to real ale, this former Nat West Bank has been a wine bar for the past 17 years. Whilst still having a vast selection of wines, draught beers have been added. The former occupancy explains the high ceiling and the cellar! The walls are decorated with extraordinary large mirrors and prints of Hollywood starlets.

Caledonian Deuchars IPA, Santa's Little Helper

The Star and Anchor opened in March 2011 having previously been Baroque and prior to that the New Anchor. The Anchor was originally on this site in 1802. Two Caledonian beers are usually available. The tenant also runs the Park Tavern in Southfields. A £300,000 major refurbishment has just taken place moving the kitchen upstairs replacing the old function room allowing more space for dining. The establishment is now food led using freshly cooked ingredients with meat from a local butcher on Northfield Avenue. There is plenty of space for drinking in the large covered and heated beer garden and by the bar which has ample comfortable seating giving the pub a cosy relaxed atmosphere. There are even sofas by the fireplace. The pub is managed by friendly Kiwi Kevin assisted by his deputy Ash. Quiz night is Tuesdays from 8pm.
