This Grade II listed building dates from the seventeenth century and real fires provide a warm welcome on cold winter evenings. Popular at lunchtimes; the clientele is mostly local with some passing trade. Supposedly haunted by the ghost of an old lady.

Grade II listed building in the shadow of St Marys Church which dates back to the 12th century. The pub itself is proberbly 17th century with a late 18th century extension. Low ceilings with exposed beams. The walls are decorated with brass plates. Lunch is served between noon and 2.30pm and evening meals between 6pm and 9pm weekdays in the bar and in the upstairs restaurant. Sunday roast is available from noon until 6pm.
