Traditional locals’ ex-Watneys pub giving a friendly welcome. Although now one large horseshoe bar (complete with photographs of the regulars), there is only a single open doorway from one area to the other giving a very distinct two bar feel complete with leather effect. The walls are decorated with a variety of pub memorabilia. Carpeted throughout, the fireplaces are an interesting feature. Although there is no garden or patio, there are a couple of seats on the veranda. The licensee has held the lease for 26 years. Quizzes are held once a month and regular charity evening take place for Help the Heroes and local causes.

This large part grade II listed Fuller’s pub stands proud at the north end of the village. The one bar allows access to the open plan area for sport on large TV screens though to a seated area favoured by diners. Refurbished in 2009 to improve facilities and create the open feel this pub now has. Local history is the theme of the wall displays enjoyed by locals and visitors from the nearby Heathrow Airport. Food is all home-cooked. Quiz night is Thursdays.
