A warm welcome from Velieda and her staff is guaranteed in this recently refurbished pub. Rebuilt in 1936 as the Plough, this establishment reopened as a bar and steakhouse in November 2011 with a friendly inviting air. The new flicker mood lighting complements the now exposed beams and open fire place giving the place a homely character. The pub boasts a 100 seat function room which is host to the weekend live music and open mic nights. The three widescreen TVs show British and GAA events. The menu is traditional and well priced plus teas and coffees are available from 7am with a takeaway option. Various events are planned including a regular wine tasting evening.
