Bath trip

 

With all three winners of the 2009 Ealing Beer Festival being in London or the surrounding area festival organiser Graham Harrison decided that the 2009 trip would be different - it would be help in 2010! Finding a brewery that could take 47 thirsty CAMRA members plus a guide dog proved difficult until Graham came upon the Box Steam Brewery in Wiltshire only 6 miles from Bath. The trip took place on Saturday 24th April and following a visit to the brewery, like the Romans before us, we descended on Bath. This time conquest of the pubs was made easy due to the meticulous planning by branch chair David Bender who used insider knowledge to chart out these taverns.
