The reason for my high rating is because I found this book to be completely different to any other self help book that I have read in the past. Often these books outline the same sort of processes so you keep being fed the same sort of information but this book seems to have a more relaxed approach to dealing with stress, anxiety and depression...and in some ways a more realistic approach. It teaches you the methods of 'floating' not 'facing', 'accepting' not 'fighting' and 'comfort' not 'conflict'. Another thing you can do is use essential oils. Spiritual leadership coach Antoinette Beauchamp swears by lavender oil.

There are lots of different ways that you can support us. We're a charity and we couldn't continue our work without your help. A book that is short and light on information, although the information it does have for dealing with acute stress is very useful. Yet, the benefits of opening up about it can help you feel less alone and discover new ways to overcome it. But now I know better, and thanks to this book I have a better understanding of how I can deal with anxiety and fear better in the future.Claire W is also an Aussie! Yay. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) only recommends trying treatments based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). If we have unhelpful thoughts and feelings, this can lead to unhelpful behaviour, which can turn into a vicious cycle of further negative thoughts and so on. Anxiety takes up space in your head, and movement will help you get out of your head. Essentially, you’re taking the attention away from your mind and putting it into your body, which can help you reconnect and get grounded.
